The Optimum Health Clinic Talk & Course

The Optimum Health Clinic, London, founded by Alex Howard, who has recovered from ME, specialises in treatment for ME & FM. Alex Howard came to talk to us in Lower Early Crescent Centre last month, about the nutritional & psychological treatment therapies used. Alex has recorded the talk & will be available as CD in due course, along with power point presentation for those that missed it.

There is a free “Freedom from ME info pack”, including DVD “Journeys to recovery”, Report “M.E. in the 21st Century, doc “Treatment at OHC”. There is now a CD of the talk available from Reading Area ME Support Group, Library.

The specialist psychology based 3 day training course uses a combination of techniques - Lightning process, Reverse Therapy, N.L.P. and Hypnosis. The Cost is £560, that can be paid in instalments, includes many CDs to use at home & follow up support.

The clinic is considering running the 90day programme course in Reading later on this year (most probably around September/October time, although dates have not been confirmed as yet). It is vital to have a certain number of participants in order to make the course run most effectively. We have 5 interested people who attended the talk, 12 are required, so we would like to spread to word to other people with ME &FM, who maybe interested in travelling to a course closer to home that London.

News from Karen in Slough

Hello Everyone

A final thanks to you all for your help in reaching my target and raising £1501.00 for Action for M.E. Last week was M.E. week and partnering with Debenhams in bringing an awareness of M.E. to Slough, a few of us from the Slough M.E group raised an extra £370.00. We even had a visit from the Slough Member of Parliament - Fiona McTaggart and we will be featured in the Slough Express..

Thank you all ever so much for your support. God has been so good!
I could not have done this without your help.
